This event brings magnificent sculpture and art to the North Shore community as a fundraiser for Women’s Refuge every second year. Harcourts Cooper & Co have supported the event for many years and are looking forward to continuing that well into the future.

As well as being the naming sponsor of the Harcourts Cooper & Co Shore to Shore Fun Run that is organised by Harbour Sport we are also enthusiastic supporters of two other events that they organise – The Massey University Harbour Sport Excellence Awards and the Mud Monster Mud Rush. Over the years we have been thrilled to see clubs that we support being nominated, and at times winning, the Harcourts Cooper & Co Club of the Year Award and seeing some of those hard-working referees contesting the Harcourts Cooper & Co Referee/Umpire of the Year Award as well. Over recent years we have also provided one of our award winning auctioneers to help raise funds for The Hand Up Fund.
This great community event is proudly brought to you by us! Our team organise the event from start to finish – that means liaising with council for permits, working with the community to arrange floats and of course arranging for the fun and laughter at the end of the parade as we celebrate all that Greenhithe and Christmas mean to us all.
Working in conjunction with David Ding, our number 2 sales consultant in 2017/18, we are so proud to be the event sponsors for SPCA Auckland. Already David has shown his support by being sponsored to jump out of a plane, had his team baking up a storm for Cupcake Day and supporting the inaugural Walk Your Dog to the Moon event happening on 3 November 2018. Being a dog-lover himself David is committed to ensuring that all animals living here on the beautiful North Shore are well looked after and loved.
The Harcourts Cooper & Co Badminton North Harbour Centre is the new home of badminton on the North Shore. We are excited to be involved in a sport that is favoured by young and not so young, male and female, as well as the many different cultures here on the North Shore. Badminton North Harbour are recognised across the country as a highly successful organisation and we are proud to assist them in raising the bar even more. With their teams, and individual players, already ranking top in New Zealand the sky is the limit.
Having seen the success of the Pink High Tea the Mairangi Bay office decided to get behind the Breast Cancer Cure cause as well and in 2017 ran the inaugural Mairangi Bay Village Lawn Party. With 226 tickets sold, both a diamond ring and a pair of diamond earrings raffle prize as well as over 100 both silent and live auctions the event raised over $32,000 in the one afternoon. This year they will be striving to raise even more when they run the 2nd Village Lawn Party at the Mairangi Bay Bowling Club on Sunday 11 November.
This annual fund raiser has been running for over 12 years now and was started by our Branch Manager there, Leigh Mosley. Leigh has grown the event from a small gathering at a private home to this year’s event that had 196 tickets sold and raised over $34,000 for Breast Cancer Cure. Each year the Greenhithe team connect with their local community to sell tickets, arrange prizes and put on an event that is better year after year.
As the proud supporters of the Primary and Intermediate School tournaments we love seeing all the kids playing come rain or shine, with shoes and without and playing with determination and sportsmanship. Celebrating health and well being within our communities is important to us and giving children the opportunity to get out and run around, learn the importance of team work and fair play is also something we love to do. We are proud to also provide Player of the Day medals.
This is what a community event is all about – the Auckland Symphony Orchestra sharing the stage with local school choirs singing Christmas Carols on a beautiful summer evening with fireworks as a fitting end to a great night at Lake Pupuke, Milford. Harcourts Cooper & Co have been the proud supporters of this free event since it started back in 2015 and we love it. Families enjoying time together, food trucks serving up delicious meals and an amazing community atmosphere.
